My Apple desktop, stationery, fresh tulips and favorite art work by Patricia Van Essche.
What’s the one thing on your desk you can’t live without?
Aside from my computer, I would say my pens. I am constantly jotting something down!
How does your desk look throughout your day?
I really wish I could say it is pristine, but it goes through a cycle throughout the day. Starts off clear, then, I start working on something, then on something else, then upload a photo and before I know it, I have all these stacks on it. I’ll clear it off and the cycle repeats itself!
What is the one thing on your desk that inspires you?
Actually, it is items above my desk, on my magnetic board that inspire me the most. I have a variety of handwritten notes…some from my children, some from people I admire and artwork and photos of my 2 sons that I can l look at whenever I need to remember what’s really important in life.
If you could be any office supply, what would it be and why?
I think I would want to be a beautiful pen. I love collecting them and I just love that they are pretty and yet practical.

I honestly can not pick a favorite. I love every single item!! The lipstick pen just makes me smile and yet, I love holding the Xonex pen…it has such a great grip (and it’s pink!). The flower shaped paperclips are just adorable and I think they look especially charming in the shopping bag holder. And, where was the pink calculator when I was in business school?! My kids were trying to snatch it from me.
I’m truly impressed with the quality of the items from Sorting with Style and it’s just a bonus that they make it fun to “go to work”.
