Fave Color Fridays-I’ve got the Blues

Hello Lovelies,

Well I’m not really blue about anything, just crazy about the color blue at the office.

Today is the first day (of many!) of Fave Color Friday Posts and I am so excited!  The color I absolutely adore in offices is Blue. Not only does it look fabulous (my personal fave), but it has some psychological benefits as well.  Research has shown that people who worked in rooms that were painted blue were more productive.  So besides all you working more efficiently, you’ll feel happier when your office is styled in this fab color.

So, how should you add blue? Well, while it’s important to add blue, we have to keep Office Style at the forefront of our minds. No sense in bringing in color if it doesn’t say chic.

Let’s start with keeping your papers organized, with the ultra fab Russell and Hazel light blue binder.

Style + function=perfection.

Next we have my favorite way of keeping ideas right in front of me, with the Letters Blue Cork Board. Not only does it make my office wall pretty, but I can’t forget my to-dos when they’re attached to this beauty.

Are we seeing the blue coming together in your office yet? Okay, good.

How about a pair of Blue Bird Scissors? The perfect pop of color to add to your office.

SO chic.

And lastly not everything you add for color needs to be something bought, but I found a beautiful photo of a bright blue sky with clouds. Tack this on anywhere in your office and you’re sure to feel the effects of the color blue.

Keep in mind, that you don’t have to paint your office blue, buy a blue chair, and go crazy with color. Little pops of color here and there are all you really need. Trust me, LESS really is more.

Ciao,

The Office Stylist
