Describe your typical workday
My work day starts with a 4:15am alarm letting me know its time to go for my morning hike in the Hollywood Hills Then straight from there to the gym for an hour of weight training with my Trainer friend. Then shower at gym and in my car by 7.15 to head to work …I always start my day off in my office doing paper work for the first hour 1 to 2 hours….from there I go to work on my clients creating amazing hair for them all day. My day ends at 7pm.
If you could work anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to work in Brazil. Because I love the culture, the people, and the very relaxed way they have with just about everything. There is a clear opportunity for a good hairstylist to take Brazil by storm. If I ever got the opportunity, I would be that person, of course, that would be when I was not on the beach enjoying that beautiful brazilian sunshine. I love the spirit, lifestyle, and joy that is Brazil and her people.
How would you describe your workspace?
Modern with just enough tradition to make it relaxing. The colors are neutral and soothing; browns creams toffees silver accents. My clients always say they love my Salon because they recognize that they are in an upscale salon, at the same time they feel relaxed, welcome, and comfortable.
This was my goal. I wanted to honor my busy and discerning clients and ensure that they when they opened the door to the Londoner Salon and Day Spa, they entered a sanctuary where they could unfurl, be taken care o, and decompress with no pretenses. We want to cultivate a sense of beauty 360 degrees, inside and out.
What is one “work item” you can’t live without (could be your planner, laptop, iphone, ipad, etc)?
I thought I could live without my I phone until I lost it and was immediately sent into a tail spin!
As such, I would have to say my iphone is one of those things I just cannot live without. I listen to my music on it . I listen to NPR on it. its my day planner and so many other things… I need it and love it
If you could switch careers for a day, what would you do?
I would be in the fitness industry . I would own a gym and fitness center. I would concentrate on the optimization and integration of mind, body, spirit fitness. I would address my client’s nutrition and lifestyle needs as well.
I’d incorporate a Yoga studio. Spinning studio. Gym with amazing trainers. Wellness center for nutrition. and restaurant attached where you can eat some of my Fav foods. As I just completed a course in French cuisine at the Epicurean culinary institute in Los Angeles.. Yes I am a qualified Chef now
I am cooking what time can you come over
You have so much going on; can you give us one tip on how you keep it all together?
Balance is everything. I try and stay mindful of that for myself, for my clients and staff. Rest enough Eat a balanced diet and exercise on a daily basis. Stay connected to spirit, hope, joy, beauty, love, and friends.
And as my father always said to me. if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all.
What are 3 things fans don’t know about you?
- I am a Chef.
- I once ended up in the hospital because I ate an entire chocolate cake in one fell swoop. The doctor thought I had my appendix burst, until I told him what I had done. They kept me in for a few hours to observe me and send me home that night . Let’s just say my father was not happy with me that day, I was 15 at the time.
- I have been to all four continents of the world

A hairstylist, chef, workout guy to boot! What doesn’t this guy do? heh.
I Love, love the shampoo chairs in his salon. That really shows you care about your customer – those chairs can be uncomfortable when they’re not well designed.
Kudos!

I hope i will not have to wait amonth for an appointment.
See you soon . Jackie
