Office Makeover-Pretty in Pink

You’ve probably noticed that I constantly talk about not having to spend a ton of money, to make a big difference in your work space. If you take a close look at both before and after photos, you will notice not much of the furniture has changed. She bought a new rug, painted the room, and did a lot of cleaning. An affordable desk from Ikea with some other accessories to add some finishing touches made this room absolutely gorgeous.
Though Pink is not the color I would want to work in, I think she makes it work and look modern & stylish at the same time.

Love the makeover; however, I may have used a black/white or brown/white zebra print rug, thrown in some coordinating accents. A little to pink for me, but I do love the styling of it. Very cute.
I love the makeover, too….but wow. That’s a whole LOTTA pink! I think that i would have prefered browns/soft blues to make it a more office-type of look. I do
like the the no-fuss look and the clean look of the storage. And i would have added some plants….
It’s adorable. I did a big office makeover in Marrakech this past year. *love* it.
I love pink (and do like the space planning-nicely done but the office space needs a bit more white, dark & soft gray and/or black…but that’s just me. Though must say I am experiencing serious decor lust for that pink zebra rug.
I think what is visually overpowering are the very large swaths of pink on the walls. Perhaps some lovely, modern art with interesting frames could help soften the pink overload others have pointed out.
