Hi!
This week’s Office Style Tip is to color coordinate. How do you color coordinate your office/workspace?
Color coordinating is actually pretty easy. As an example, most people that I know who work from home have a bookcase in their work area. Most of their books are sorted by category or not sorted at all for that matter. Now picture you have your bookcase or area with stacks of books, now sort and place them together by color. You will see a huge difference in the area. Color coordinating makes your space look cleaner, and it will most likely inspire other styling ideas for you.
Another great way to color coordinate your workspace is to place items together that match. Have a blue lamp shade and a blue picture frame? Placing like color items together creates a piece of art or decor, without having to go out and buy a painting or vase of some sort. You can always add great items to your space, but to make a big difference quickly and efficiently, try this method first.
A few of my favorite pieces that work so great together are the Pink Sticky To-Do Notepad right next to my Pink Petite Calculator and a Pink Daily Planner. All color coordinated, and all FAB.
I love to color coordinate if you haven’t noticed already and I have entire posts dedicated just for color. The reason I bring color up a lot is because it can really transform your work environment, for the better or for the worse.
Take the time to color coordinate in some way this week, you’ll be glad you did.
Because I care,
The Office Stylist
