Hi!

A friend of mine recently emailed me asking if I knew of any stylish shredders. I searched and searched online until I came to the conclusion that I already knew, that there aren’t any stylish shredders. The Office Supply World has not yet come to that section yet but I am sure it’s only a matter of time .

For those of you wishing there was something you could do to make the shredder in your life look, well…a bit more hip or less like a shredder, I have a few tips.

1. Get a shredder that matches the color of your furniture or accessories. Unfortunately there aren’t so many colors to choose from but the three main colors I came across were: stainless steel, black, and white. For me I chose a small white shredder that is both effective and matches the white furniture in my office.

2. Designate a space for your shredder. As I have mentioned before, there are cabinets you can get to house certain things like printers, and other not so appealing electronics we need.

I did find a couple of shredders that are what I wouldn’t call stylish, but they are much better than some of the ones I came across. I like the black accents as it makes the shredder actually look sleek:

As I always say it is important to have style but it is equally as important to function well also. No sense in forgoing getting a shredder because there aren’t any stylish ones out there.
