Summer Time: Catching Up and Making Changes
If I was still in school I would be celebrating the fact that school is officially out. Summer days and summer nights to look forward to, without any added stress. As an adult I still look forward to summer because it’s a great time to catch up on things, and to spend some time at the beach.

Since most people choose to have their vacations in the summer, I find that it’s the least busy time of the year. A decrease in traffic on the road and out of office email replies help create space to get to things I’ve been neglecting. But what about you guys? One thing I know some of you can do during this “slow” period is update your workspaces. If you’ve put off the task of cleaning and styling your workspace, now is the time to get to it! Make a list of the top 5 things you’d want to change and do just one of those per week. Before you know it, you’ve created a workspace you actually like to work in.
Not sure where to start? Ask for help. I’ve opened TheOfficeStylist.com up for questions that I’ll be answering as you send them in. Anything from a specific work accessory you’re looking for, to how to make a few changes to your workspace.
How do you spend your summer days?
